There’s a trend that I lovingly call…
“Frankenstein Brand Syndrome" (Cue dramatic organ music... 🎶)
You know the drill: A brand identity, pieced-together with flashes of inspiration from Pinterest boards, Canva templates, and late-night Google rabbit holes.
The only problem?
When you step back and view it all together, it looks as out of place as a karaoke machine in a library.
So, instead of giving off a confident “I’m a pro!” vibe, the result ends up whispering, “I know this is kinda cringe… but I’m not sure how to fix it!” 🙈
The good news?
Your brand doesn’t have to look “patched together.” (Unless that’s your signature style - in which case, rock it!)
But if it’s NOT your signature style, I’m ditching the “mysterious creative” persona and sharing my behind-the-scenes secrets in a new series covering:
✅ Zero-fluff branding hacks (because time is our most precious commodity).
✅ “Why-didn’t-I-think-of-that?!” tricks to make competitors side-eye you with envy.
✅ Real-talk pep talks for when you’re thiiiis close to rebranding for the 4th time this year (and it's only February!)
⚠️ Warning: My posts may cause spontaneous confidence, sudden client attraction, and/or the urge to high-five yourself.
Coming tomorrow:
Real-talk about one terrible piece of branding advice that could be working against you.
So, are we in this together?
Will I see you tomorrow, ready to get your brand aligned? 💪
I sure hope so. It’s gonna be a good one!
No matter where you are on your branding journey, this is the space wher branding magic happens every single day!
From non-profits to small businesses to the world's most recognized brands, I use my love of storytelling and design to ensure that my clients aren't just seen; they're remembered.
